      Great Workplace Overall - Virtual Assistant GoTeam Employee Review

      Pros

      1. Competitive Salary- I am a fresh graduate and an entry-level employee. Still, I was offered a relatively competitive salary compared to what I see in other companies in the field. 2. HMO- HMO and Life Insurance are given from day one which is not the case for every company out there. This speaks volumes of how they value their employees. 3. Great Working Culture- So far, the people from Go Team have been very professional and easy to work with. They are really supportive and understanding especially to those who are newly-hired.

      Cons

      1. Company Integration- If you are an employee outside Cebu (which is where the GoTeam headquarters is located) you might have a hard time connecting and building relationships with other employees and you may sometimes feel left out if there are company outings/activities. (Unless you fly to Cebu days ahead of the event, which is not practical). But if you are an introvert and do not really like social interactions then this company is perfect for you. 2. Productivity Monitoring- Employees' computer activities are always monitored (I know this is for security purposes) But I find it irrational to require employees to have their computers active for 8 hours. I think that it is not important to be active for 8 hours, what matters is we get the job done regardless of how much time we spend doing our tasks. (Just my two cents). 3. Overtime Pay- There is no overtime pay here.

      They support employees' work-life balance and show concern for both their personal and professional lives.

      Cons

      Since working from home is the finest work environment, I don't see any disadvantages to it.

Moreover, the compensation and benefits offered at GoTeam are exceptional. The provision of life insurance and 24/7 access to counseling support through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) has been invaluable. This program not only extends to employees but also includes family members, providing free legal advice and financial consultations. This demonstrates a genuine commitment to the well-being of the entire GoTeam community.

      Cons

      While GoTeam excels in many areas, there have been occasional challenges in communication. Clear and consistent communication is crucial, and there have been instances where this could be improved to ensure that everyone feels informed and connected.
