A good place to start, but not good for those with experience - Tutor GoStudent Employee Review

Pros

Availability of students, if you want hours they will definitely offer them to you. The system (when it's working) is very intuitive and looks really nice. Very good support when you start Very consistent, I have had constant work since I started just under a year ago.

Cons

Pay. The pay might be good if you're an A level student/ early undergraduate. But if you've got a lot of experience, yet don't take on that many hours you can't get above the base rate of £13, unless you remain with one student for a very long time in which case you get bonuses. Due to the nature of teaching (students take breaks/only have tutors for exams etc) this means your pay effectively reduces if you start with new students despite being a loyal employee. There are bonuses available - such as £250 if you complete 150 hours in 6 months but obviously if you fall just short of that of course you don't get it and you're kept at the base rate of £13.
