- Special treatment is only given to the Sales Reps, if you work for them, it’s going to be very tedious while they are out and enjoying themselves. - lack of boundaries when it comes to vacation time. The entire time I was employed there, I only took one vacation, and even then a Sales Representative was blowing up my personal phone to help them out with a deliverable that had a due date before my scheduled vacation. When I let my boss know, his response was “well you know sometimes you have to work on your vacation” even though it was my first and only vacation during my employment with GoPath. - They prefer profit over employee comfort. I was sexually harassed by a current employee of the company. And even though he had multiple complaints submitted against him, they still keep him hired and gave him authority to treat people as they please despite him making multiple people uncomfortable in the office. - Conflicts of interest in the workplace. A relative of the CEO is hired there, and they was verbally attacking people on email threads with multiple people on them to see. I requested to be removed from the project due to their lack work ethic, and was told to continue working with them, and to just not pay any attention to them but that they weren’t going to hold them accountable. When I asked if their relation to the CEO had anything to do with it, management evaded the answer. - Dishonesty on job postings. When I applied for my position, I was told it was going to be hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote). Then, when I started, they expected my presence in the office 5 days a week. I had to verbally remind them that the job was advertised as remote and request my remote days. - Company savings disguised as “opportunities for growth”. GoPath would much rather overwork their employees that actually hire someone new to replace employees that have left the company. While I was there, I agreed to help out with a side project that was not part of my original duties because someone left their position for a new job. The tasks were poorly planned and the project duties were being assigned with a same-day turnaround. It got to a point that it was taking up majority of my work day and I wasn’t able to perform my original job duties. When I requested to be removed from the project, I was told that I was only going to be helping until they hired someone new to take over those duties. Five months had gone by and I found out that they had already hired somebody after the first month had passed and I was just doing the work. They had no intention of telling me anything until I sent in my resignation and it was THEN that they expected me to transition the person that’s already been working there for 4 months. - Racial profiling. Even though I was already working there for 6 months, I was asked to wait in the lobby at the old laboratory (mind you I’ve been there multiple times before) and I was followed. This never happened before with the people I have worked in the old lab with. It was only when a certain doctor was around. And when I told them that I was supposed to go look for the person I was working with, they followed me everywhere until I had to have the doctor I was working with verify that I was in fact meeting him. - Lack of Employee satisfaction. The entire time I was employed at GoPath, I saw three employees walk out on them the same day. No two weeks notice. I was the fourth one that year, and given my experiences, I understood why when I chose to terminate my employment.
