Pros
Paid training Meeting new people Vending machines
Cons
Management is power hungry and tries to assert dominance over everyone. They blatantly show disrespect and micro aggressive behavior towards black women. My hair was worn natural and not only did my instructor make such an exaggerated expression as if she’d been hit by lightning, but management stared at me for a long time and told me I needed to change my hair because a single piece of hair was SLIGHTLY covering my eye. There were multiple white women that had hair covering parts of their eyes and face. Later in the training program, I was so exhausted and closed my eyes for a second too long and was given a write up because I was “asleep for 6 seconds”. I don’t know about y’all but a long blink is not sleeping. I was then fired because I wore a pair of black heels that laced up—at the beginning of training my instructor had told me that my shoes were compliant and allowed. It wasn’t until and hour before graduation(over a month later) that she said they weren’t acceptable. They then let me graduate and took my wings back. The entire part that solidified how horrible this company was was that there were two other women with unacceptable shoes and nothing happened to them. There was also a Hispanic woman that was fired for small misspells. They don’t like when you question them or ask too many questions about basic things. We weren’t talked to about pay until 3-4 weeks in.
