Pros

I loved working with the employees there. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. Small company where you can't hide at your desk and not get noticed. Most of the time, stocked refrigerator for employees. Free lunches on Fridays- they use that time for their weekly meetings.

Cons

Long hours for little pay. Had to beg to leave "early" on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. Job changed dramatically over a short period of time from a BDR to basically Telemarketing with requirement of calling 150 people in a day- not telling you that amount in hiring process. Horrible leads to call. No training! They tell you to just listen to past calls. Once you have a very decent lead they drop the ball on the potential client's deadline for a proposal equaling no commissions for you. The insurance is very expensive. The company has been in existence long enough to be more recognized in the ECommerce community. The other positive reviews written on here were current employees asked to write a review to make the place look appealing.

Most unsuccessful sales people complain about pay, that’s not a surprise! Our BDR’s get their bonus regardless of whether a prospect closes or not – you provide a qualified opportunity to the sales execs, you get rewarded for it regardless if that sale closes eventually or not. If the opportunity is a no show or doesn’t make the criteria, you obviously do not make your bonus. We believe in training, but more hands-on on the job kind than theoretical classroom curriculum. One can be trained indefinitely but if one does not possess the ability and intellect to apply that knowledge to a real world setting, then even lots of training will still feel insufficient. We however do plan to invest even more in training and add greater structure as we grow. Employees are able to start late or leave early whenever they request as long as they are on time with their deliverables – that’s our only request. Health Insurance is no doubt more expensive for ALL small companies in the USA, compared to the Fortune 500. The company pays for most of the premium for our employees for health, dental and vision. While the costs have continued to rise, we have only added more benefits with time contrary to the trend of cutting them. We also have an excellent 401(K) plan. We are working on adding even more benefits in the future. At GoECart, we all work hard as it’s one of our core values. There is plenty of time for breaks and snacks. If you don’t like learning new things, being challenged every day or don’t like contributing meaningfully at your job, then that clock is going to be ticking awfully slow. Most A players crave a high performance environment like ours where they feel enriched at the end of each day. As for soliciting false positive reviews from current employees, what kind of impression would that make of us on them? That’s worse than getting a review with made up negatives!

Pros

If you are driven and looking to obtain a terrific work experience in a fast paced setting, you'll enjoy it here. It's like going to the gym - you'll be challenged and may not like it in the very beginning but you feel great when you get into the rhythm and lose those 10 extra pounds. I learnt here faster than anywhere else. My colleagues were intelligent, driven and hard-working.

Cons

Not a place for someone who likes to complain or not willing to word hard. It still takes 80 minutes to get to NYC by train. Relatively flat management structure.

Pros

I really like that the company from the top to the bottom strives to do better each day, for all its stakeholders - customers, employees, partners and community. A place where hard work is expected and rewarded. A technology company that does not rest on its laurels, ever. Every member of the team is treated with respect, be it the brand-new intern or the VP. Each and every person has a voice and the company encourages them to share their opinion openly. Best practices are always the standard default for doing most things. When you have an environment with such high standards, every employee's game improves at a very rapid pace. Very friendly atmosphere with lots of team camaraderie but that is never confused with the high performing culture. Tons of opportunity to learn and grow at every level. Learning never stops, EVER. I have learnt and grown professionally the fastest at GoECart than any other organization I have worked for previously. GoECart is sensitive about its culture and goes above and beyond to promote it and also shield it from contamination. The company moves fast and expects its people to act with agility because that is the only way to keep its customers successful in today's fast moving technology world. One last thing, no politics and no-nonsense place.

Cons

The company needs to invest more in structured internal training as they continue to grow rapidly. The company is in a rapidly growing e-commerce and retail technology industry but it must execute fast to take full advantage of the market opportunity. So, it is not a place for you if you do not share the same core values as the company.
