It is a really good job for the area and the fact that it's a call center - Customer Service Representative GoConfigure Employee Review

Pros

People are very nice to work with, although the turnover is high, it is not near as high as other call centers. This was the best call center I've ever worked at. They offer great benefits; health insurance, short term disability life, dental, ect. 401k. Paid holidays and get a week's vacation after 1 year of working there, and got a 50 cent raise after 90 days, which is a great incentive. They really work with your schedule and have a good work/life balance. You get to talk to people and contractors from across the country and are fairly hard working individuals. Opportunity for overtime. Opportunity for promotions to team leads, supervisors and managers on certain accounts.

Cons

For a call center, there's not really much to complain about except the usual call center things. The only real complaint I have is sometimes we're short staffed; reluctance to fire people who don't show up for work or perform their duties honestly. You'd get audited for no reason, you could just be in an order and do nothing and get audited. Communication with stores, customers and contractors are disjointed because of the people at the call center not communicating all of the transactions and occurrences thus customers are agitated and don't want our business and you get yelling customers in the end. So yeah...the usual call center complaints.

Pros

Good training, structure, room for growth. The work is fast paced but not complicated.

Cons

The company has been sold to new business partners multiple times in the past decade with new leadership every time. Most corporate customers walk all over the business which is the downside of being the bottom-dollar bidder on opportunities.
