      Pros

      Can lead to a lot of great experience. Get to work with some very interesting clients. Company equips you with high end, professional gear. Management cares about your well being.

      Cons

      On call 24/7. News doesn't stop so sometimes neither do you. Because of this it can be hard on your social and family life. Management is very upfront about this, they want you to know what you're getting into. Hard work - can be thrown into some very difficult situations. This can also be a pro since it will help you grow in skill. Pay isn't terrible, but should be much higher for all that you do.

      Great way to fast track your career, growth is substantial and the protections the company offers versus freelance are spectacular

      Cons

      On the road a lot, and if you aren’t comfortable being on call it’s not for you.

      Good experience and connections. Use of gear not easily accessible to self employed operators.

      Cons

      Promises not kept, impossible to plan anything without getting prior approval for a day off as you are technically on call 24/7 and expected to be able to get out your door ready to go to a job within an hour of being called
