Pros

Work alongside games studios across the world on in development games CEOs are understanding for the most part

Cons

- Micro managed - Working outside of 9-5 is the norm - Illusion of task ownership, but really it's down to managers and owners to have final say and input - No clear career path. Promises of promotion but would rather try to hire cheap than progress current employees - The fact you can see the operations managers review here say that the company is perfect is absolutely laughable - Everyone is very stressed all of the time - The technology is inconsistent, so employees end up having to make excuses and lying for reasons outside of their control - Blame culture - Some real bad egg employees - Upper management had a drive a while ago to get all employees to write Glassdoor reviews but most employees refused (can you guess why?)

Pros

• Exciting customers to work with and great insights into the gaming industry. • Friendly coworkers and a fantastic culture. • Developers have autonomy over what they build and there are lots of opportunities to be creative and influence the product direction. • Developers get to see the results of releases and how they directly impact customers. • Management are supportive of individual needs around remote working, flexible hours, time off, training etc.

Cons

• Does not include benefits such as private healthcare, dental or annual bonuses. However, there are other benefits such as wellbeing and share options. • Pay could be more competitive in-line with larger tech companies. However, there are opportunities to transition between roles, get promoted and review salary terms with management - No restricted salary review periods.
