I worked for gopeople for 1 year they extremely exploit poor runners, You can NEVER make a living or any real money doing this job. The customer service has 1 dimensional mind thinking, the customer service are from overseas in a third world country, they ring you up like crazy all the time while you are driving on the road, they even ring me up saying i'm late but i will finish all deliveries way before the destination times im saying like 1 hour before the destination time. The pay is ridiculous, like $40.00 for 5-8 deliveries each one around 30 minutes distance from each other, you start around 10am then finish around 12 or 1pm. You be spending more on petrol, plus they tax you like 15%. Gopeople have this tracking system and they are very strict telling you to turn it on and follow the route on google maps, which is great i do that and having google maps is very helpful as im not great at directions. But the big problem is Gopeople will ring you up and ask you were you are and keep on bugging you to tell them how far are you from the pickup or drop of location and what expected time you be there. But they say they have a tracking system but they don't know where you are? I told them once about the tracking system and they couldn't answer me with their broken English and rude attitudes. The customer service are rude!!! they don't care what excuses you have like if your stuck in traffic and effect you to never be 1 minute late, they don't seem to understand that it takes time for traffic, parking, waiting for customer or pick up. All the small businesses also are very rude to deal with and don't seem to understand you have other deliveries to make before theirs or if there are delays like traffic ect. When i was working for gopeople i always had 100% positive and have done more then 300 delivery jobs and always went out of my way to make the customer happy, even when sometimes doing some extra deliveries for the businesses in which they don't pay me for them and force me to do extra deliveries and if i refuse they threaten to get me a negative rating on my gopeople profile or they will say they will lose the item and tell report you to gopeople so you will have to pay for the lost item, these are the kind of small businesses you are dealing with some unfair doggy ones, but gopeople don't care about that, they just laugh at you thinking you have no rights and treat you more like a slave. So dealing with gopeople you come across with some very doggy company's who will blackmail you and if you report these doggy company's that gopeople send you to, gopeople become extremely defensive and tells you to just shut your mouth or they WON'T PAY you and will FINE you up to $200.00. Gopeople only deals with small businesses most of them are good but you come across some doggy one who blackmail you to do free deliveries for them, so beware. Gopeople are scammers and will try their very best to make excuses so they won't have to pay you anything. Again i been working for them for 1 year and gave up at the end, but i always did a great job i always made sure i delivered on time 100% of the time and that the deliveries are always safe when delivered.
