Pros

Honestly? None. Except the part where this NGO partakes in a little bit of social work and awareness raising. It's just a soul-less cold place that wants to do everything for the world but absolutely nothing for its employees.

Cons

Working here is unlike anything you'll ever experience. If you're a fresher, get ready to feel all colours of trauma on your first job. Experienced professionals will also not be spared of their unkindness. They make you work in the most unprofessional setting possible. They have offices both in India and UK. The difference of treatment between the employees working across the two offices is unbelievable, some might even think they are racist towards Indian employees. Usually they get young people onboard because on that starting salary, which experienced professional in their right mind would be interested. They make you work round the clock in the guise of 'social work' and then if you refuse to play into their dirty politics, they will drop you in a heartbeat. They love micro managing their employees in India and while by organisational structure they're an NGO , they do regularly gaslight their employees and keep scrutinizing them over petty activities in the office by comparing their employee behaviour to that of a big shot MNC or corporate. If you think this is just one angry employees rant, ask them in your interview 'Why do your employees leave every 1-2 years?'. There are a million jobs in the universe, it's 2024, we can do better than wasting our time and skills on a good for nothing place like this that is only their for showing off on social media but doing less than a sloth on a tree in reality.
