Pros
Good company, recognizes performance, and is making changes for the better. I started as an individual contributor 3 years ago and worked my way to managing a team and participating in helping set company direction. My manager has made it his objective to help me follow my desired career path, and as a result have received great mentoring, outside training, and the ability to collaborate with senior members of the company.
Cons
Combination of factors (market, competition, acquisition of Affinity) have forced the company to pivot, which means the company has been in transition for about a year. Some people have a hard time adapting as systems, process, and roles change, but overall the company is moving in the right direction.
