Pros

You make new friends

Cons

Incredibly exploitative. They do not even pay minimum wage. These people lie through their teeth to their workers. They will always motivate you to make money but will barely pay you. You make a guaranteed $300 a week plus bonuses ut those bonuses do not go beyond $45-90. This sounds good if you're working twice a week. But you will be working 10 hours EVERYDAY except Sundays. You are expected to walk around neighborhoods and go door to door begging people to donate to a charity. You will lie and tell them that their donation goes through. Basically, you will be helping the marketing firm, Global Faces, scam people. You have work in the rain or shine or snow. No phones allowed during your unpaid 'shift', and you're only allowed two breaks. One break is before the shift starts, the second break is less than 30 minutes and it is during the first half of your shift. If you have no dignity and you are okay with working for free, and in return learning how to smile at people, than go ahead and take the job. If you need money DO NOT TAKE IT!

Pros

Nice coworkers, flexible hours, independence

Cons

Whole thing felt very scammy, manipulating people into signing up for monthly recurring payments that don't all go straight to the non-profit. You don't get paid if they don't pay for at least 3 months. They don't tell you what exactly you have to do until you start training- should have been a red flag. A lot of people quit pretty soon after finding out what you have to do. We also had to work rain or shine, sometimes in torrential downpour and often on scorching, 100+ degree days.
