Pros
Basic benefits are provided. Plus the $3/day voucher that all employees get to buy meals/drinks. Opportunities for professional development and skill enhancement. Great HR community where there is close collaboration and understand Flexibility to work from home 2-3 days/week. There is a proper (silent) room for prayers (not many companies have that).
Cons
Being in a global role entail taking evening calls, sometime clashing on our personal time. Some meetings are scheduled during the eve or public holidays. Lack of recognition from corporate. Many times, we are told that it has to be at a global level to be awarded but sometimes they fail to see the amount of good work that is done locally.
