Pros

-New Hires receive gracious bonuses and salaries since nobody will come here. -Excellent for Social Networking as you will meet and say goodbye to numerous employees weekly. -The Chicken pesto sandwich is pretty good.

Cons

Where to start... -The CEO refuses to acknowledge the +26% attrition rate when asked during "All Hands Meetings". The constant replacement of working level employees hinders the completion of projects since knowledge is never retained from the previous employees. -HR has no focus on retaining talent and would rather try to acquire talent. I'm not trained in HR practices but it is common knowledge that retaining talent is cheaper than hiring. HR freely gives out signing and relocation bonuses to try to attract talent as nobody wants to come here. -With the generosity to new hires you think that it would be the same for employees who have accomplished things for the company but its not the case. Raises ranged from 1-3% and bonuses were minimal. -No Career progression. Within my department not a single person received a promotion yet 5+ new hires were brought in at higher roles with zero experience in some cases. -No Accountability- People have no problem committing to a date but are rarely ever able to meet it. This is a huge problem and makes forecasting impossible. Don't believe the GLOBALFOUNDRIES propaganda that circulates in the Times Union. Yes they created a lot of jobs, but how many of them are for US citizens? Unfortunately yield isn't scored like golf...

Pros

Very supportive team and management to work with from the beginning. Many training classes need to be taken in moving forward to align with the company policies and technical procedures. Good benefits and competitive salary. Have a very positive plan for long term career and educational support tuition. The interview and hiring process are long but informative and responded promptly.

Cons

There are many training classes to take so it may put more stress on a new hire if you do not have a good plan.

Pros

Everyone is willing to help and the training is actually good training

Cons

If I didn’t know someone that worked since I was going to overnights I didn’t really meet anyone on my team except my manager once. Also I wouldn’t know who to reach out like manger wise if I didn’t know someone who already worked here
