Pros
Lovely people, especially the commercial directors & sales directors (not c-suites!) Good for learning Good product to sell.
Cons
Pay isn’t good enough compared with other similar roles There are definitely some favourites + internal politics. Imagine working a deal for a more senior guy to kick up a fuss internally and then steal. Very bad rap for the aggressive sales methods of GlobalData within the pharmaceutical industry. CEO of pharma stated “I don’t talk to sales guys” - again very sad state of affairs. This is the same CEO that also wants to review every potential sale made.
