As a long term employee I felt invaluable whilst I was working but the moment I handed in my notice that all changed. Global Wind Service even went to the extent of contacting my new employer about my new job. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed my time at this company however their attitude and performance since I resigned has shown me exactly what they are like. I wasn't even wished well from my boss for my new job. I was very close with the management of the company and not one person has contacted me to say goodbye. Now I don't expect that but when you give many years of happy service you expect something. Mind you the back office management changes too much for you to actually build relationships with any managers so you are always starting fresh with someone. Given a job offer from them again I would not return
