Pros

There is a good base salary and the pension contributions are excellent, the majority of people are fun to be around on a personal level.

Cons

CEO actively bullied senior members of staff and despite this being reported to HR, it was never addressed. Other senior members of staff bullied new members of their team and despite being reported to HR, this was not addressed either. Culture in general is dreadful and centred around the CEO and his personal whims - when we moved to a new office he had it reconfigured to remove a beautiful staff breakout area with lots of natural light and a decent view from the window so that he could have his office there, the replacement breakout area was at the back of the floor with no external windows. This is a good example of how the company values its employees. Everything is bogged down in 12 levels of approval/procedure which means hardly anything gets done, zero autonomy, very little diversity, absolutely archaic ways of working (desktop computers, meetings run off 12x printed copies of a 150 page report). They think that competitive salary and excellent benefits = good company, and is too arrogant and £££ focused to realise what value overhauling their culture and working practices would bring.

Pros

Actively invest in online platform, however, bad UAT experience due to rush launch and little scenario tests "Fun" workplace to see some staffs enjoy idle / gossip time while others bustling around. Offers medical insurance (coverage for essentials), and bonus (but not appealing comparing to competitors). Very slow career progression, no work life balance.

Cons

Micromanagement and toxic environment. Not possible to make change without approval from top management. Hierarchical of approval procedures due to lack of trust and too much of documentation work, leading to low efficiency to get things done. Little engagement activities in the office, no team building activities for department across regions. Office locates far away from the city, little natural light / view from windows. Aging property with signs of technical issues.

Pros

Easily give tidbits and foods

Cons

1. No team work, all think highly of themselves and quick to point fingers to vendors when things go wrong. 2. Biased and quietly racially preferred One singular foreign race over others despite their qualifications, mostly they got the job by recommendation rather than merit. 3. Over demanding out of scope from management despite paying peanuts for vendors. 4. Poor top and middle management practices drove high turnover rates with in-house teams and even with vendors
