They do great work. Really good, dedicated staff. Small, dedicated senior team. All very kind and thoughtful. Powerful community work.

Small team with a lot on everyone's plate means some systems are a little older and outdated. People have to wear lots of hats.

The staff is fun and relaxed. They often go out to lunch together. People get along with one another. They have a relaxation room where you can take your breaks. A massage therapist comes in once a week. Nonprofit work can be stressful, but I didn't feel the stress as an intern.

Their culture is not representative of nonprofit experiences. After working here, I thought all nonprofits were chill. I now know that is far from the truth. Internships are unpaid. Use funding from your university if they offer it!
