Pros

If you are new to the industry and are looking for experience doing a little bit of everything, it's a great place to start off and then move on after a year. Just keep in mind other nationally ranked magazines do not run the way this magazine does.

Cons

Expected to wok 24/7 with extremely low pay (less than minimum wage for some) with no benefits. The company has many financial issues and lawsuits they are facing (see for yourself online) and there is a constant struggle to pay employees on time (if at all). The staff that runs the magazine is so small that it is surprising anything is even able to be put out and interns are used to do work that full-time employees should be doing instead of hiring people with experience. You will be hired for one position and end up doing many other peoples jobs since the company refuses to hire and pay people what they deserve. No room for real growth, company owners constantly talking about possible shutting down and doors closing.
