Pros

Great entry level position, young staff, fun place to work, good addition to your resume, good looking account staff

Cons

• Staff is seriously under appreciated, you'll rarely hear "good job." • Bonuses or raises are extremely sparse (you can work here for several years without seeing a raise, promotion or bonus). • Management is clueless and old, they wouldn't know good design if it was sitting on their desk, Therefore the work suffers. • They hire their friends and family, regardless of how "skilled" they are. No joke, the sister has been there for easily 10+ years and I think it was a running gag that we have yet to see her do any actual work. • No middle management to drive staff and inspire. • Overall lack of vision in the company. • They continue to go after shady car dealerships as clients for quick buck, and in turn continue to churn out sh*tty car advertisements and useless direct mail pieces. • Projects are always rushed and worked on in the final hour. Recognize that any success you do have is because of YOUR STAFF. Therefore, treat your staff better, otherwise you'll continue to be forced to hire straight out of college. Any real talent will continue to walk out the door.

Pros

Giovatto is a hands-on agency where you truly learn the business from the inside out. Leadership is deeply involved, expectations are high, and the work is real, not busy work. You gain exposure to strategy, client relationships, media, and execution in a way that’s rare at larger agencies where roles are siloed. The team is tight-knit, fast-moving, and loyal. If you’re someone who wants accountability, direct feedback, and the opportunity to grow through responsibility, this is a great environment.

Cons

This is not a passive workplace. It is best suited for people who are self-motivated and comfortable in a family-run, high-standards culture.

Pros

I did meet a few great people, and we got through a lot by leaning on each other and venting about how badly things were run. That shared experience and support was the only thing that made this job manageable.

Cons

This company is defined by poor leadership from the top down, creating an extremely unhealthy work environment. The executive team creates a demeaning culture that leaves employees feeling demoralized and undervalued. Employee feedback is often dismissed, and collaboration is replaced with ego driven decision making. The entire company struggles under this poor leadership. There is a serious lack of accountability and support across departments. The work is emotionally and physically draining due to the leadership culture. There is little room for growth, recognition, or respect. Even high-performing employees can feel undervalued and overlooked. This role was not worth the impact on my time, energy, or mental well-being.
