Pros

Diversity is embraced and valued and there is a great parental leave policy. The firm is also flexible about leave of absences and return to work after leave.

Cons

The Firm has lofty aims and values and those are engaged with by some pockets of the firm but there are rogue groups. Without a firm ally you will not progress as there is no defined career path.

Pros

Lots of friendly, young people and great facilities.

Cons

HR quite literally only exists to protect the senior lawyers, and will do anything to retain them at the expense of others. They have no moral compass, and as much as they advertise themselves as an innovative, more modern firm, their beliefs about work could not be more archaic. Some of the partners treat those under them, especially assistants, with zero respect and with zero consequences. Please do not take a role in this company if it's not a senior position as you will receive absolutely no support from higher up. The turnover is extremely high due to the toxic culture and lack of respect from HR. The pay for non-legal roles is ridiculously bad, along with the hours and benefits, while even the most junior of lawyers earn a very, very high wage.
