      Great benefits, diversity & inclusion; strong associate resource groups that cater to women, LGBTQ+, People of Color, veterans; there are a lot of associates willing to commute 50+ miles one-way (100+ miles roundtrip) to work at Giant Food.

      Pay is fair, but could be higher based on cost of living in the DC market

      Pros

      The team was nice and the customers were friendly.

      Cons

      The management are inconsistent in their employment practices. They target certain employees and will at some point be in legal trouble based on how they treat people. They have no leadership skills like communication and clarity. The store manager, assistant and HR needs to be retrained. The morale is low and there is constant confusion. Leaders should be the model in creating an inclusive culture.
