Pros
Good Culture and great people for the most part. This company truly cares about its employees. Top management is open, easy to talk to, and really listen to questions or concerns. Overall a great company to work for if your passionate about what you do.
Cons
Middle and line managers are hit or miss. Some have severe power trips but you'll have that everywhere. The mining industry has its ups and downs which seem to be about every 5-8 years. One year we could be so busy there's not enough time in the day; the next year your mopping floors. On the upside, they try to avoid layoffs and don't turn people down from a full weeks pay. They use the down time for improvements and cost savings.
