Pros

There are no pros working at this company. The pay is low, the stress is high do to constant micromanaging, and the support is non-existent.

Cons

Upper management is very incompetent. They promote based upon who they like rather than based on performance. This results in many of them performing poor in their new position. Expect that you will be reassigned to a different department and ultimately demoted. Those that perform well will be undervalued and often ridiculed. Favoritism and nepotism is a rampant problem. The training is by far the worst I’ve ever seen. It is normal for a quarter of the new hires to resign within the first week of getting out of training due to their lack of preparedness. Also, hr and the management are in cahoots with each other, so don’t think that any relief will come your way should you complain. Finally, the Managers and Directors will maintain false documentation on you without your knowledge to present to HR when they’re ready to fire you. There will be no warning, no opportunity for explanation, and no review by HR.

Thank you for your feedback. We do appreciate when employees and former employees take the time to share their thoughts. Helping customers enroll in a plan that fits their needs and their budget is such an important part of what we do here at GetInsured. Since there is an Open Enrollment Period for folks to sign up for a health insurance plan, the business is certainly seasonal. That means that as a company, we do need to ramp up our staff to prepare to serve the higher call center demands in the fall and winter. Unfortunately, that also means, there is a ramp down period after open enrollment. This is true of any seasonal industry requiring customer service. Seasonal agents are hired on a contract basis and understand that the contract ends upon conclusion of the Open Enrollment Period. There are, however, some great benefits attached to this seasonal work. For instance, our agent compensation plan is industry competitive and includes a strong base hourly rate plus commissions. High-performing agents are also considered for permanent employment based on the company’s needs at the time. We do thank you for your service with us at GetInsured and wish you the best in your future endeavors.
