GetInsured Response
5yTo begin, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on your experience with GetInsured. It’s been quite a year, especially for our call center, working during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our call center team had to turn on a dime and deploy a 100% remote workforce to keep employees safe and meet the demands of our customers. That speaks to a very bright and nimble team.
Open Enrollment is a busy time of year for the GetInsured Consumer Assistance Center; call volumes fluctuate, and client operating hours can change as well if a state sees a spike in consumer demand. At the end of the day, it’s our mission, as well as our state clients, to enroll as many people in health insurance as possible and get people access to care, so if we need to extend hours to meet consumer needs, quite simply, we do.
During the interview process all candidates are informed there will be ample overtime opportunity during Open Enrollment. To be clear, we ask employees if they would like the overtime — never demand that they stay. Those that can work, do so and take advantage of overtime pay if their work hours exceed 40 hours for the week. Those that can’t, do not. We hope, if this was not your understanding, that you took the time to voice your concerns with your manager. We have an open door policy and the management team is always available.
We wish you the best in your future endeavors.
