Pros

None that I experienced during my time at the company

Cons

My experience at this company was extremely negative. Communication was consistently poor, with frequent changes to processes and expectations that were not explained. This made it very difficult to work effectively or feel secure in the role. There was a high turnover of staff and very low morale across the team. Employees were not given enough support, and there was a general lack of structure in how teams were managed. My direct manager in my view, did not show meaningful care or support for the team, which contributed to a lack of direction and engagement. I also felt uncomfortable during meetings where recording was taking place without clear communication about when or why it was being used, which contributed to a lack of trust in the working environment. Overall, I would NOT recommend working here.

Pros

I have been here a few years now, and for a company this size it punches well above its weight. There is a real and growing people first and client first culture that you can feel day to day. The people are genuinely great, the vision is exciting, and everyone is approachable, right up to senior leadership. In the last few months in particular there has been a big investment in people development, which has made a real difference. If you want the energy and freedom of a startup, this is a great place to be.

Cons

It can be chaotic and fast paced, and priorities move quickly. That is the honest reality of a startup rather than a giant corporate, and it will not suit everyone. People sometimes join wanting the freedom and excitement of a startup with all the safety nets of a big corporate, and the truth is you cannot have both. If you come in knowing that, you will get a lot out of it.

Pros

Positive and Supportive Management Approach Management maintains a friendly, approachable, and supportive attitude towards staff. There is a positive working environment where employees feel comfortable communicating with leadership.

Cons

Continue Listening to Frontline Staff Frontline employees interact directly with clients and often have valuable insights into operational challenges and opportunities. Maintaining regular communication with staff and acting on their feedback can help improve both employee engagement and client experience.Introduce a Friends and Family Discount Programme A friends and family discount would align well with the company's vision of prevention and wellbeing. It would allow staff to share the benefits of the company's services with their loved ones. This initiative could increase brand awareness through positive word-of-mouth and help attract new clients while supporting the company's core values.
