Nice colleagues from across the world is, unfortunately, one of the only pros about Geronimo Web.
Cons
Management. I have never experienced anything quite this bad at any former workplace. There are fundamental issues at Geronimo Web and management seem to only blame their employees. They are condescending but call it ”being straight forward”, they shout at their employees but call it ”being passionate”, they are lying and distrusting while expecting loyalty. After people have been fired or shouted at, they buy treats or send out a motivational Monday mail the next couple of weeks to raise morale … You see the pattern by now? This is an abusive work environment. I was never treated the worst but seeing several colleagues have breakdowns and feeling forced to leave, to keep up what was left of their mental health, has been devastating. To be fair, if you are a tough cookie who is happy to work hard with little to no acknowledgement and do not mind seeing new colleagues come in happy and leave broken, then you can advance at Geronimo Web. !! If you read this, please look at the reviews on here - the good ones normally come in a row after the bad ones. This is to drive up the average rating so Geronimo Web can still attract people. It is in poor taste (and illegal) but it is how this family business is run.
