Nice working environment - Senior Android Developer German Autolabs Employee Review

Often both the questions and the tasks in start-ups are either not really clearly or not satisfactory defined, which is why creative solutions are needed. This often involves contacting people and departments with those you have probably never come into contact with before. The working environment at German Autolabs is really nice: people respect each other and the overall atmosphere is helpful and supportive. People also like to ask for help, that is often a good sign of a healthy working space to be in. It is always a great privilege for me to work in such an international team of currently 20 countries. It is simply a pleasure to always get new perspectives and opinions from the most diverse people. I also like that almost everyone here keep normal working hours: Usually a problem can be solved much better the next day with a clear mind. Plus: The company often organizes social events, and those who are into it have a lot of fun.

It might not be a company for everyone. You have to be very flexible when it comes to tasks that you learn by doing.

- a project with a purpose (making lives easier + making driver safer) - technically speaking, one of the most interesting/complex projects atm (AI, assistants, speech recognition, machine learning, automotive ... what else do you want?) - chance to learn how to think "outside of the box" - insights into different departments (tbh this is the case in most startups) - an awesome international team that welcomes diversity - diversity welcome mentality in the teams as well as in management

- no "google/Facebook/amazon salaries" (but they are OK if you look at the big picture a.k.a. overall package) - no clear career paths yet (but show me ONE startup who has that from the beginning).
