Pros

Accessible, given that its a student job and most students are already on campus when its time to report for work. It can also be a great networking outlet, since professors have connections and if they see you as a hard worker, they're more likely to help you professionally.

Cons

Depending on the professor, your work could not match your pay. For example, if the class is partly asynchronous, you may not have a reason to clock in, so you get paid less. But then you have to grade a lot of assignments or exams.

Pros

Great Research Environment, with multiple opportunities for collaboration. A great place overall for grad school!

Cons

Can be a bit competitive at times, but really depends on the lab / advisor you work with

Pros

- Free Housing - Meal Plan - One of the better on campus job for students in my opinion (still able to be involved in other activities as a student on campus)

Cons

- Duty part of the job (Being on call and getting late night lock outs but this is rare), and definitely can still do homework in between doing duty rounds - experience can also depend on your hall director / area (but regardless still served on great RA teams, can be great if you have a co-ra but also been good at time being a single RA on the floor (no need to coordinate schedule if you do events together as a single RA unless you alternate events with your co)
