Pros
Stable company, and since Koch buyout not a public company so GP is insulated from the ebbs and flows of publicly traded companies. MBM is a nice philosophy, but not practiced consistently or when it may deter management from a decision that they want to make. Some good people that want to make a difference
Cons
If you are not senior management, you are nobody. No bonuses, no communication, no salary increases for most (in full disclosure, I was given a raise last year - first since the Koch acquisition - but also was told that no one else in my group would be receiving one, and that no one had received one since the acquisition) VERY BAD MORALE among the workers Declining benefits - which used to be pretty strong....now average to below average (health care providers, 401 K management company have changed to less attractive options.....stingier vacation accumulation, no more charitable donation match program, etc) VERY POLITICAL - to the detriment of getting the job done.
