Pros

Good pay, has benefits, knowledgeable bosses and engineers, uniforms provided, did have good shift for E&I (4-10’s - being changed) Great company for inner advancement.

Cons

High deductible insurance, split weekend if you work shift work, only 8 hours holiday pay when working a 12 hour holiday shift. No shift premium. I was hired as an E&I, and was told I’d be deep in PLC’s and other work. I was told it was a multi raft facility, but thought I’d be helping the other crafts when needed. 3 maintenance, and the other E&I quit after I was there about two weeks. The engineer (my immediate supervisor) went on FMLA around the same time. Perfect storm. I was an E&I for maybe 5 days out of 2 months. I was a well paid maintenance mechanic the rest of the the time.
