The project investigator is an enabler. The project director is an ineffective leader and is incapable of making decisions. Sadly, there is a hierarchy in the office. If you are faculty you are treated with the utmost respect and if you are staff, sorry you are insignificant. There is not "I" in Team. No advancement opportunities or raises.
