Pros

The hours were good and most of the people are fun to work with. the job task can be very diverse.

Cons

The company is divided into clicks, one side is the long term employees that have all worked there for a long time together and then the short term temporary employees. I say temporary becuase they are the ones that get layed off each time there is a bump. This company is in the habit of laying off as soon as it knows it will not make its quarterly numbers. These clicks result in some employees going over everyones heads and taking a complaint directly to upper managment like the operations director who will then take it on himself to talk to the employee being tattled on without going to thier direct manager first. The bonuses are much less than what is described in the interviews. In the interview the bonus are decribed as being 1% to 6%, in reality it has been less than 1% and this was even for the quarter where the company had a record revenue month. The company has a system of measuring the employees based on the jobas they work on. this system does not give them credit for any other type of project that may need to be done which makes it difficult to do a special project leaving the manufacturing engineers to do all the work that would normally be done by a technician or general laboror. The director of operations tends to "test" new engineers and support people to see what they are made of. This usually results in the director talking to professionals like they are shop hands, threating thier job to try and get more out of them all in the name of trying to coach the employee into working harder.
