Pros

I have been working in this company for the past 2 years now. What did I gain in these two years? Here it goes, 1. Added new technology stack under my belt. 2. Got the opportunity to become a leader. 3. Gained more sense of responsibility. 4. Frequent client interaction from different countries helped me gain more sense of understanding about the customers. 5. Added experience in pre sales. Have estimated more than 60 projects in these two years. All the points mentioned above are applicable for each and every employee of this company. If you work hard, the company works harder for you. Apart from these, Geotech has a very friendly environment. A boss is more a friend than a boss. Frequent company trips adds to the pleasure. Good salary package as well.

Cons

If you are expecting this company to be a place where you can reside as a needle in a haystack, then this is definitely not the right place for you. Every employee has a big role to play as this is not a multi million dollar company where there are loads of other people to take care of it. The company does not retain under performers under any circumstances. This is not a con but I don't have any other point to write here.

Pros

1. You'll get to learn a lot very quickly and they keep on upgrading their stacks according to market standards so you don't have to worry about falling behind ever. 2. You'll be constantly in a room full of smart people who genuinely love technology. 3. CTO is one of the most insightful person I've come across with extreme knowledge in any domain possible. 4. Your salary is always on time.

Cons

1. Team leads are not that great in terms of management. Although they all are knowledgeable in their respective domains. They are very quick to judge and not that truthful many times. They would probably judge you based on how many breaks you take rather than what outcome you are producing. 2. The salary structure is not that great as the variable pay is a huge section and the bonus was always way too less even after handling huge work loads. 3. Micro-management and politics exist which adds a lot of pressure other than the work pressure which becomes mentally taxing sometimes. But I think this will exist anywhere you go, so just needs to be handled.
