Pros
Career growth opportunities, competitive salary, wonderful healthcare and 401k benefits, collaborative environment, mission driven organization, diverse employees, flexible hybrid office/remote work schedule. I'm very surprised to see some of the comments around the CEO hiring family members. When Genexa was founded 7 years ago it was a tiny family company that ran its business out of a garage, so yes there are three employees who have been here since the beginning related to the co-founders (one of whom is essentially the third co-founder). They're the only ones, and I can't speak to their salaries but the idea that the CEO keeps hiring family members and giving them special treatment is outrageous. As a longtime employee (and NOT related to anyone at the company) it is inspiring to see how much the company has grown in seven years and continues to fulfill its mission to disrupt the pharmaceutical industry. I hear first hand stories from our customers every day how our products are game changers for them and their families, particularly those with serious food allergies or conditions like celiac and Alpha Gal. From what I've observed that's the part that matters most to our executive leadership.
Cons
Like any workplace, Genexa is not perfect. Because it is a smaller growth company there can be issues like gaps in communications, times where employees need to wear multiple hats, and sudden strategy shifts (but the last one seems to be the cost of doing business in an ever changing category). What matters to me is that they have taken this feedback and are always trying to develop new processes, make smart hiring decisions, developed a robust onboarding program, etc.
