Pros
Genetesis has the foundations of a solid, next generation tech company. The projects, for the most part, were stimulating and rewarding for a growing Engineer in my field. The company is weighted in young professionals, which leads to a fast-paced R&D environment (albeit, sometimes not the best course of action). Work hours are relaxed, and the office is clean and very modern looking. Culture is developing constantly.
Cons
This is a start-up, and as exciting as that is, all companies have to go through periods of growth. As of now, project management has been abysmal, and it feels like upper management is unaware of what the engineers have been up to. Genetesis is in a transitional period where the company MUST hire more experienced professionals (senior level engineers, HR, etc), redefine transparency, and shape long term goals in order for it to succeed in the future.
