Pros
Good location. Great colleagues. Not too bad for new graduates who need some work experience.
Cons
Opportunities for personal and professional growth are very limited, salaries are low, and annual pay increases are minimal. Working overtime is commonly expected and considered important in performance evaluations. Note that the company is headquartered in China and is predominantly controlled by its leadership there, so it maybe challenging to adapt the management style. Although this branch is based in Canada, the local leadership does not prioritize an English-speaking work environment, making fluency in Mandarin essential for effective communication. A lot of resigns and layoffs recently, so be cautious.
