GNS is a small but growing company and we are continuing to develop our business practices. We brought on a client relationship manager in February 2016 to help with this process. He has scheduled one on one meetings with all of our 150+ clients.
We do spend a lot of time on "the little things" but that is what our clients want. We are selling a boutique service to Hedge Fund managers who want and need one-on-one hand holding and services. Our service delivery is personalized to each client. It takes a little longer, but our clients tell us they appreciate it and we will keep doing it.
Both partners work day to day on managing the business, and our doors are always open. Many staff members come and speak to us on an informal basis, some of our best ideas and changes have come from these interactions.
We do have a very in-depth employee review process that we go through once a year with each employee. We encourage everyone take this process seriously and help "manage up" by letting us know their feelings and ideas for making GNS better. Every employee in their review meets with the senior partner of the company for over an hour and goes through our very comprehensive evaluation checklist.
