Pros

The only positive element was the resilience of some individuals in junior roles, who worked independently and tried their best.

Cons

The initial promise of a team of four turned out to be a solo effort, with no significant handover or guidance. When I took on responsibilities, to my surprise, I found that my role was to handle the tasks of an entire department and meet client demands without any clear direction, working on social media with outdated strategies as if it were 10 years ago. Lack of internal communication, coordination, understaffed and unstructured departments are everyday occurrences at Generation Y and the result clients' dissatisfaction. The first two months were marked by unpaid overtime, unreasonable demands, an excessive workload combined with micromanagement from some colleagues, lack of support, and guidance. There was no creativity, no motivation, and no training. Despite efforts to address the issues through internal transfers and new hires, it was too late for me. Within four months, the number of colleagues who left was high, creating an unstable work environment. Overall, it is an unhealthy work environment at Generation Y, lacking corporate culture and structure, with a disregard for the well-being of its employees.
