Pros

I loved the sense of community at this employer, even though we were virtual. I also adored the topics we taught and the students.

Cons

I wish we would've had an outline of lesson plan expectations. It's also a really underpaid position for all the work one has to do.

Pros

I am grateful for the amazing opportunities for growth and development, as the CEO cares deeply about the growth and well-being of the team. The four-day work week and work-from-home structures during the year support a healthy work-life balance.

Cons

The summer is an intensive, immersive experience that requires a lot of time and effort, but is rewarding and energizing.

Pros

This jobs looks good on a resume. It provides teaching and mentoring experience. Other than that there are no pros.

Cons

Days are often 8am-5:30pm. When you break down the pay by hour it's less than half of what minimum wage is. Part of the money they give can only be used on tuition or education loans. The reason teachers get there early and stay late is we have a morning meeting and an evening meeting. More than half of these meetings are just wasting time. Meaning we do some sort of activity and there's no actual meeting. The information that is given out could just be sent in a text or email. The students go home at 4, yet were expected to stay a hour and a half later. During the day we were not technically allowed to leave the campus either. Nor did we get an official break time. Multiple managers left the program.
