Pros
Great people to work with - my people manager was extremely supportive and my coworkers were mostly friendly and all-around awesome people. Pay was decent and benefits were too. Work/life balance was good in my team, but it seems to vary across all teams and jobs.
Cons
If you're employed as a government contractor (I think most here are), as with any government job, you are at the mercy of government funding. GDIT talks a LOT about the fact that they try to find you another job within GDIT if yours gets defunded. And they did try, but they also ended up furloughing my entire team without pensions, including one employee that has been with them for 40 years. So, my advice is have a contingency plan if you work here, just in case.
