Pros
Worked with some incredible people who are super knowledgeable in their respective spaces Decent health insurance & other benefits (not fantastic, but not bad either) Direct leadership I had was great, and was always very responsive to ideas and suggestions Summer hours (half day Fridays) are great to take advantage of the summer! Just stop adding so many requirements for them... trust your employees to be adults. Inspiring products & mission - helping people protect their home & families with power is really a message a lot of people can get behind.
Cons
Pay is well below market value for various departments and roles. Executive leadership struggles to lead effectively... Likely due to how many of them are totally remote (only coming in once a quarter maybe) Burnout is real... will lay off people in waves and expect employees who still remain to pick up the slack. No bonus for about 2 years, and minimal raises (less than 2%)... Not much in the way of career development currently. You're almost stuck at the position you were hired at, if the need someone higher up, they will likely outsource.
