Pros

Benefits are good, insurance is affordable, coworkers are fun

Cons

Passive Aggressive Atmosphere...Will hire anyone who walks through the door which leads to horrible team building. Pay is well below the market for our area and it feels like they go out of their way to make it harder to complete our goals. Our Manager comes to our location once every 4-5 months and we don't hear from him in between. People are rewarded for doing the job they were hired for. You met goal - here's a gift card. Not You didn't make goal? How can we help you? Very High School (sometimes Middle School) atmosphere. Foul language, harrassment, confrontations between coworkers. HR does nothing, supervisor closes office door and ignores. Office physical environment is horrible. Bathrooms constantly out of order, phones drop calls, temperature impossible to regulate. Our office doesn't have a fancy cafeteria or walking trail. Jefferson is the Red Headed Step Child of Generac. Only YES MEN are promoted. if you question any procedure, policy or make suggestions for improvement you become stagnate.

Pros

No background checks. Good for people needing a job quickly.

Cons

Where to start? Poor leadership on all levels. A bunch of talk about quality and the customer but are happy pushing out inferior product and dealing with it later, but then blame all the workers (via no quarterly bonus due to impossible metrics they have little/ no control over) instead of correcting the workers responsible. They are SO CHEAP. Cheap in pay, cheap in providing what employees need in a timely manner or if ever, cheap in benefits, cheap all the way around. They want drones, not humans. Very high turnover rate. A lot of promises and little follow up. If you sign up for the annual company picnic and cant make it, they take money directly out of your check for each person signed up to go. Poor training. Reactive, not proactive.
