Pros
My time working at Geekdom allowed me to interact and connect with so many of San Antonio's forward thinkers and innovators. Although Geekdom has a mostly tech focus, I was fortunate enough to meet some talented creatives and entrepreneurs. My job was mainly facilitating connections and guiding people to the right resources. In doing this, my network grew significantly leading me to eventually work and collaborate with so many startup companies. Like any workplace, it's all about what you make of it. If you don't take full advantage of the situations that are put in front of you, you will not find success.
Cons
I live on the far NE side of San Antonio, which made my commute a nightmare. However, this was offset with the fact that Geekdom provides free parking to it's employees.
