As a former employee I was hired on under the impression that I would receive adequate training. Once I arrived my supervisor was to train me and was very reluctant. She micromanaged to the max, was clearly looking out for herself, and had a lack of communication.There are clearly too many people working at this company who have no managerial skills, and, although they may have experience in the field they do not hold a college education. When you are interacting on the phone and via email with the customers you would think your own supervisor would use correct grammar.
Additionally, the office is incredibly old, small, and unsuitable for a work environment. If you happen to be hired with an "assistant" title be sure to prep yourself for additional duties. Instead, of having the company let you focus on actual work, while a cleaning crew takes care of the kitchen clean up,you will have the honor of helping keep the office kitchen tidy.
Be careful of what you say or share with others, no matter who they are, as there is extreme gossip at this place and very little loyalty.
I would definitely be cautious of this company if you are ever considering working there. I've worked at other very reputable companies prior to having worked here, and this is by far the most unprofessional and uncomfortable working environment.
