Pros
Competitive pay, good office location (STL), up to date technology & equipment, frequent team outings, challenging work, fun group to work with, approachable executives Announce is past the delicate "will we or won't we make it" phase and into the hyper growth and profitability mode. The company is re-investing in the people, technology and acquisitions which is great to see and be a part of. I also strongly approve of the executive team; they are approachable and knowledgeable about the industry. They may not have the time to come to you with information or tips on how to do your job, but if you go and ask them they are more than willing to sit down and pound through a problem with you.
Cons
-Middle management could use more leadership training -Not a lot of focus on developing individual's careers -Egos can run high -Office environment can be unprofessional and rowdy at times The company has grown fast and as a result, promoted people into leadership positions despite them not having leadership training or experience. I know this happens everywhere, but Announce is young and their growth is limited to the strength of these team leaders. There are some inflated egos here, and I'm talking about the entry-level employees (the executives are surprisingly modest when it comes to this). I know the company is doing great things, but there should be more humility and people need to accept that there is a lot to learn.
