Wouldnt Recommend - Web Developer Gatesman Employee Review

My time at Gatesman as an intern was great, my managers were super supportive and other managers across different departments were also more than happy to answer any questions I had.

Sometimes work can pile on pretty quickly, but I think that's more indicative of agency life in general.

I have been with the company for many years now, and as the company has grown, I have had the opportunity to grow with it. Gatesman+Dave has an exciting list of clients - from healthcare, to retail, to finance, to B2B, to tech and beyond. With the diverse client portfolio, I have had the opportunity to get familiarized with many different industries - which is exciting because that makes everyday different. In regard to management, they provide the right guidance to help you grow but also give you a run way to do your thing - really allowing you to carve your own path and excel in areas that are your strengths. John, Shannon and Dave had made their vision, mission and growth very clear - and their passion, intelligence and overall respect for the industry exudes in their leadership. The culture is a fun one too. Everyone marches towards a "good enough sucks" mantra showcasing just how much a little hard work can make great things happen. I've worked at other agencies in town, and the work and internal structure of Gatesman+Dave is very much different than any other place I've ever been - in a good way. Lots of other perks too! Holidays! UNLIMITED PTO (whaaat??)! Flexible office hours. Parties. Happy hours. The whole nine yards.

I don't think a lot of people realize that they can do whatever they want with their career path at Gatesman+Dave. It doesn't matter if you have supervisors above you, management should continue to share that the sky is the limit and that there are no caps on what can be accomplished!
