Pros

Nothing bad to say at all. From a very well-balanced work-life setting, to a fully remote life, to an excellent team who wants nothing more than for everyone to succeed, Gatekeeper is really a top-tier tech company to work for. Continually investing in people, Gatekeeper cares about the happiness and growth of employees. The company has remained non-funded from the beginning and this shows with a CEO who's relentlessly trying to create a comfortable work environement for all, rather than a VC backed 10x mindset.

Cons

If you don't enjoy remote working this may not be the best fit. Having said that, with COVID becoming more of an endemic, the company tries to meet in person as often as possible and visit clients.

Pros

Remote company with meetups every few years

Cons

Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re genuinely desperate. There are some great people at Gatekeeper but it’s a mess. Leadership’s priorities constantly shift, there’s constant turnover of senior leaders that each restructure everything from top to bottom as soon as they join the org, and they never commit to a clear focus for more than a few weeks at a time. Burnou's a massive problem here. Sadly, there’s a strong lack of trust from the top. Senior leadership trusts only a small inner circle, and if you’re not in it, you’re basically going to be justifying your existence on a daily basis. Your calendar and activity WILL be monitored because managers don’t trust that people are doing their jobs, even though everyone’s snowed under. Employees are pushed to be “obsessed with AI” but the reality is that AI adoption at this company has drastically increased everyone’s workload, and people are exhausted. If you're considering a job here, just note that they're reducing staff numbers and simultaneously increasing their revenue goals. Again, there are very good people here, but the culture makes it hard to thrive. I wouldn’t recommend working here without significant change
