Flexibility for corporate workers, can be a part of many initiatives if willing, advancement opportunities for those willing to relocate.
Cons
Operations (and support services) don't have the leadership bench strength nor the computer literacy that they need to operate. Leadership is old boys network and a lot of decisions by gut, not facts. Very political. Need to be willing to relocate to be promoted due to the global nature of business. If you want to move, good opportunities. As with most companies, division of labor not good - often you do someone else's job because they don't know how or because the position isn't filled.
