Unfocused and chaotic - Internship Gamucatex Employee Review

It's a remote position, so no expenses for the job (transportation, etc.)

The answer I got when I asked questions are usually passive-agressive, I don't see a clear goal for the game since we keep reworking old works from former employee, the direction given for my task is unclear, too many meetings in a week that took hours, too many accounts used in one app which is very inefficient.

Free breakfast two times a week

My internship at Gamucatex was chaotic and unprofessional. There was no structure—just endless Discord meetings, constant location changes, and zero focus on our actual learning goals. Despite clearly stating I wanted to work on visual content, I was buried in documents about how to stand in a booth and game design even though i was not part of the game design department. Questions were met with passive-aggressive replies from the CEO and we were often told last-minute about events. Creative freedom was non-existent. Every single task had to be edited repeatedly, to the point where it felt like nothing was ever truly finished or good enough. It was disheartening, and micromanagement was present at every turn, making it feel like we were constantly being monitored rather than trusted to work independently. A very disappointing experience and i would not recommend this place to anybody.
